What should I expect?

To learn! Forays are all about learning how to look for fungi and spending time in the great outdoors with a likeminded community, not necessarily for everyone to go home with a basket full of mushrooms (especially in larger groups). Please note that due to the lack of snowfall this past winter, macrofungi may be more difficult to find. Though our leaders know where will have the highest chances in these conditions, please remember that we can't control the conditions necessary for mushrooms to fruit.

What should I bring?

  - Weather is unpredictable, wearing/brining layers is highly recommended to ensure your comfort. Light-weight long sleeves and pants are also recommended as protection from scratches and scrapes!
