Flashcard Making Workshop (Afternoon)

Learn what mushrooms you can find in the varying habitats of Northern Utah while making a deck of identification flashcards to take home and study! This workshop will begin with a brief lecture of macrofungi taxonomy, morphology, and ecology then will overview descriptions of 30 common mushrooms you can find in our local areas as participants are guided flashcard-making.

This event is sponsored by the Park City Library and open to the public. Led by representatives from The Mushroom Society of Utah, a 501(c)(7) non-profit dedicated to fungi education, citizen science initiatives, and the enjoyment of nature.
