Ashley's Snowbank Fungi Foray (Uintas)

We'll meet up at the Kamas "Mirror Lake Station" Chevron (2 N Main St) at 10 AM then caravan up to the foray site(s). Carpooling is recommended! Note that MLH requires a recreation pass. It is federal land, so the "America is Beautiful" US Parks pass covers use of the canyon, but the Utah State Parks pass does not. After leaving Chevron, we will stop at the Samak Smokehouse at the beginning of Mirror Lake Highway where a day pass ($6) can be obtained.

Our ultimate destination will be Lilly Lake. Park on left side of the highway (the side Lilly lake is on).

What should I bring?

• LAYERS

  - Weather is unpredictable, wearing/brining layers is highly recommended to ensure your comfort. Light-weight long sleeves and pants are also recommended as protection from scratches and scrapes!

• APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR
