About the event
This foray will meet at the Bloods' Lake Trailhead on Guardsman's Pass at 7:30 am. (We're are meeting early because you'll be ticketed if you're not in a designated parking spot in the lot and it fills up quickly.) If you are late, head down the Blood's Lake Trail to look for us. There is not cell service at the trailhead. UPDATE: Parking fee now applies for this lot. $8 per vehicle. The pay station does take credit cards.
What should I bring?
- LAYERS
- Weather is unpredictable, wearing/brining layers is highly recommended to ensure your comfort. Light-weight long sleeves and pants are also recommended as protection from scratches and scrapes!
- APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR
- Both for your safety and freedom of movement, wear shoes with appropriate tread. Hiking boots are highly recommended. Hiking sandals may work in certain locations, but are generally not recommended due to off-trail walking.
