Aimée's Uintas Lunch Foray

Join us for a foray in the high Uintas, after which I'll cook up the mushrooms we find (fingers crossed)!

We'll meet up at the Kamas "Mirror Lake Station" Chevron (2 N Main St) at 10 AM then caravan up to the foray site(s). Carpooling is recommended! Note that MLH requires a recreation pass. It is federal land, so the "America is Beautiful" US Parks pass covers use of the canyon, but the Utah State Parks pass does not. The ranger's station is next to the Chevron where a day pass ($6) can be obtained.

Once at the site, we'll foray as per usual, then end the foray with identification learning and lunch made by yours truly. :)

What should I bring?

   Weather is unpredictable, wearing/brining layers is highly recommended to ensure your comfort. Light-weight long sleeves and pants are also recommended as protection from scratches and scrapes!
